Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports has announced their first deal with a coach, agreeing to terms with the Cleveland Browns' Hue Jackson.
Roc Nation Sports represents a plethora of highly touted athletes, most notably Kevin Durant, Dez Bryant, Leonard Fournette, Robinson Cano and Skylar Diggins, but they've never represented a coach until now.
According to ESPN's Darren Rovell,
"As the money involved in the business of coaching has risen, so too has the fight among agents to represent those in the highest positions."
Jackson's first year as Browns head coach resulted in a franchise worst 1-15 record. The Browns used the #1 overall draft pick on Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett and added safety Jabril Peppers, as well as tight end David Njoku later in the first round.
