Forbes has announced their annual list of the world's highest paid athletes, and once again Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo holds the title of the richest man in sports.
According to Forbes, Ronaldo raked in $93 million over the last 12 months, including $58 million in salary and $35 million from endorsements. This is the second straight year that Cristiano made more money than any other athlete on the planet.
LeBron James leap frogged Lionel Messi ($80M) to become the second highest paid athlete this year, pulling in a total of $86.2 million.
Rounding out the Top-5 highest paid athletes of 2017 are Roger Federer, who pulled in $64 million ($58M from endorsements alone) and Kevin Durant who banked $60.6 million.
