So many possibilities!

The possibilities of songs that never were because beats weren't used are always an interesting topic of conversation in the hip-hop community, and this story is no exception.

This past weekend, a new track featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR and Jeremih called "Don't Tell Me" surfaced online. It has since been taken down, but the key ingredient of this song was the fact that the vocals were done over Travis Scott's "goosebumps" beat. Cardo, the producer of that instrumental, has since revealed that multiple people were reportedly sent the beat, according to DJ Booth.

"Only three to four people had that beat," Cardo said. "That was Drake, ScHoolboy Q, Future—don't know if he ever got it—Rihanna and I sent it to Young Thug as well."

There's lot to unpack here, all of which is speculation at this point. Was the PND and Jeremih track a freestyle? Was it a fully-formed song that never saw the light of day before "goosebumps" did? Also, given that Drake was looped in as far as the beat was concerned, and PND is Drake's artist at OVO, it seems like that's how PND would've gained access to it.

At this point, all we know is that it definitely wasn't a demo for "goosebumps" and not an official release. Travis' single, featuring Kendrick Lamar from 2016's Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, has already gone platinum.
