According to Daily Detroit, Big Sean's organization The Sean Anderson Foundation has donated $15,000 to help benefit Wayne State University’s Helping Individuals Go Higher Program. The aim is to provide support to Wayne State students who are currently experiencing homelessness or who are on the verge of being so.
Students who are in the program receive short-term assistance in the hopes of returning them to long-term stability, which will in turn help them complete their degree. This is the second time Sean's foundation has made a donation to the program, with an initial contribution of $25,000 to this issue after she had met a Wayne State student who had experienced homelessness while attending school.
