Some things in the universe just align perfectly. Let's take a moment to acknowledge one of those times.
Damian Marley, the youngest son of Bob Marley is now 1 of 20 new investors in the ownership group that has purchased controlling interest in the most famous marijuana publication, High Times Magazine. The media company behind the publication is valued at $70 million, and is the first time the magazine has changes ownership since its foundation in 1974.
With new ownership comes new and more ambitious endeavors such as hosting more live events like the Cannabis Cup.
Damian Marley had this to say in a statement,
“High Times also had me daydreaming of so many beautiful strains that at the time I had not yet had the chance to experience,” he said referring to his high school years, “It is now an honor to be a part of the High Times legacy that I’ve been a fan of for so many years.”
