A member of Wale's bodyguard team is being accused of carrying a loaded gun near a Boston nightclub without proper licensing.
According to Billboard, Eric Miller pleaded not guilty to charges that include unlawful possession of a firearm. Bail was set at $50,000 cash.
Police say Miller was arrested at the nightclub in question on Sunday after he supposedly participanted in a fight. Police added that he told them that he had placed a gun in a nearby vehicle, which they promptly recovered after learning of this. Miller reportedly did not have a valid firearms license with him.
No official word yet on how or if this will affect Wale's security detail long-term.
