Mother Nature didn't let Chance the Rapper off the hook easily last night.
According to Now Toronto, Chance's show at the Budweiser Stage venue yesterday was cut short by thunder and lighting. It's a show that had already been rescheduled due to weather, with high Lake Ontario water levels preventing it from going ahead as planned the first time around.
As the skies opened up about an hour into Chance's set, which was late to begin as well, no shelter saved the nearly 16,000 fans who rushed to make it out of the deluge as unscathed as possible. Many also had to wait in the rain to get their checked bags. As wet and wild as the evening was, the show is getting positive reviews so, even under meteorological duress, Chance delivered again.
