Following the release of his first proper album, Teenage Emotions, Lil Yachty continues to stay in the spotlight, covering Paper Magazine's Summer 2017 issue. The cover photo, with the crimson-braided rapper sticking his tongue while the one-word title of Youth reads across the bottom, is typical of his persona, silly yet perhaps more than a little disaffected.
The magazine also published a feature article on the rap phenom, where they say "[...] his 'brand' represents nostalgia for the past and hope for the future all at the same time." Additionally, there's a special video message from Yachty available on their Instagram and YouTube pages, telling kids watching to, "Get up, go to class, do those tests and follow your dreams." Seems like that latter piece of advice has worked out well so far for the Boaty one.
