Travis Scott experienced quite the event in his music career last week when two of his albums, Rodeo and Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, reached platinum status on the same day.
According to the RIAA, this feat came despite the albums being released a year apart, with Rodeo dropping in 2015 and Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight being released in 2016. The timing of the accomplishment is a truly special one. Additionally, the single "Pick Up the Phone," featuring Young Thug, also earned a double platinum honor on the same day, officially making Travis a special kind of triple threat.
Travis albums have been a big topic of discussion of late, with fans waiting impatiently for two upcoming projects that are slated to drop this year. Neither has a firm release date as of this writing.
