We now have more details of what caused the blast during the Manchester bombing.
According to TMZ, pictures of what appear to be the remains of the backpack bomb that was blown up in the entrance to Manchester Arena have surfaced, showing, among other things, the trigger that was used to kill 22 people and injure 59.
The blue Karrimor backpack, in which the bomb was placed and what is reportedly what is left of the trigger switch, was found in the bomber's left hand. A 12-volt, lead acid battery, also found among the wreckage, is believed to be the power source.
It was the deadliest terror attack in the UK since 2005, with The Guardian reporting that an accomplice may still be at large.
