Chelsea won't hold victory parade in wake of Manchester bomb attack.

Premier League champion Chelsea have announced that their victory parade on Sunday has been cancelled amid heightened security concerns in the aftermath of the Manchester bomb attack.

The attack at Manchester Arena during an Ariana Grande concert left 22 dead and another 59 injured.

"Everyone associated with Chelsea Football Club offers our heartfelt condolences to those affected by Monday's attack in Manchester. Our thoughts go out to all the victims and their families and friends."

"In light of these tragic events, we feel it is inappropriate to go ahead with the victory parade in London on Sunday."

The British government recently raised the national threat level from severe to critical, meaning authorities believe another attack is imminent.

According to ESPN, Chelsea have announced that players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect at Saturday's FA Cup final against Arsenal. Arsenal have also announced that should they win Saturday's FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium, they will not hold a victory parade.
