Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre are about as different as two partners could be, however that hasn't stopped them from becoming two of the most dominating forces in the music industry.
In a trailer for the upcoming HBO documentary The Defiant Ones, which will focus on the working partnership and friendship between the two men who made a fortune selling Beats Electronics to Apple three years ago, Eminem takes a shot at defining the difference between the two.
“Jimmy Iovine is the levitator, Dre is the innovator,” said Eminem at the beginning of the trailer. An almost too simple, but perfect explanation.
