Drake's performance at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night was a rare occurence, and he made sure the monumental move was just that--monumental.
All in all, the 2017 Billboard Music Awards succeeded at providing viewers with a diverse line-up of music brightest stars and went to great lengths to do so.
This included building Lorde an onstage karaoke bar, bringing legends Celine Dion and Cher to the stage, streaming off-site performances from Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran in Europe and South America, repsectively, and placing Drake in the middle of the Bellagio Fountain to perform his More Life cut, "Gyalchester."
While short-lived, the performance was a long time coming for the rapper, who took home a record-breaking 13 total awards by the night's end.
