Report claims Gordon is in a desperate financial situation.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon's reinstatement bid was turned down by the NFL earlier this month and now he is reportedly "desperate for cash."

According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, Gordon was recently fired by his agent Joby Branion and is now hoping to sign with a new agent in the hopes of getting a cash advance to get him out of this desperate financial situation.

Gordon, 25, has reportedly made $4.2 million since signing with the Browns in 2012, though he hasn't played a game in two seasons due to multiple suspensions.

He is expected make another bid at reinstatement in September.
