A Floridian teen has been arrested and suspended after threatening to shoot up his high school, all because Lil Uzi Vert's Luv Is Rage 2 hasn't dropped yet. ABC's local affiliate reports that the teen posted a Facebook status stating "Drop luv is rage 2 before I shoot up my school.” While the post itself garnered over 200 likes, local authorities were not among them. They arrested the teen last Thursday, and even if the post was meant as some sort of gallows humor, people don't generally mess around when it comes to school shootings.
While it would be ludicrous to blame Uzi for the actions of his deranged fans, the incident does create a parallel between the rockstar and his idol Marilyn Manson, whose music was rumored to be favored by the Columbine shooters.
