Jordan Brand has announced they've signed 23-year old Guo Ailun from the Chinese Basketball Association’s Liaoning Flying Leopards, making him the brand's first CBA endorser.

According to The Vertical's Nick DePaula, Jordan Brand will pay Guo Ailun $1.4 million this year as part of the new deal. Ailun was previously signed to Chinese sportswear brand Li-Ning, who was reportedly paying him just over $1 million per year.

He has been playing basketball professionally in China since the age of 18 and has averaged 15.4 points and 4.6 assists in 205 career games in the CBA.

Guo is one of China’s most popular basketball players, boasting 1.6 million followers on Sina Weibo, which serves as a Twitter-like platform for China.
