The MTV Movie Awards, now known as the MTV TV & Movie Awards, has a rich and odd heritage, although it hasn't delivered moments as controversial as its sister awards show, the MTV Video Music Awards, which is also broadcast live, hence the probability for unwanted surprise.
Nonetheless, over the years, the award show has included a varying degree of 'hip-hop,' from attendees to hosts. For instance, who remembers Lindsay Lohan's You Got Served-inspired performance with Marques Houston, Omarion and Lil Saint's Dance crew from the 2004 show? Justin Timberlake's red carpet cornrows in 1997, or when Snoop Dogg and Ke$ha smoked a joint on stage in 2013?
All in all, the MTV TV & Movie Awards has always been an interesting watch and with all of the new changes to the show adding to the hype surrounding the 2017 ceremony, we decided to do a round-up of the least and most hip hop moments.
