Earlier today, Young Thug went on Instagram to reveal that his next project, Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls, will be dropping "this week." A couple of days before, he shared a snippet of a song featuring none other Rich Homie Quan, his former Rich Gang partner, whom it was thought he had fallen out with. As of tonight, though, both of those posts are gone -- as is basically everything else on Thug's Instagram. The only remaining post is a zoomed-in image of the famous "tears of joy" emoji, which is captioned with the acronym for Thug's upcoming project.
The emoji indicates some trollish behavior is at work, though it's not uncommon for rappers to purge their Instagram pages these days. French Montana did it a month ago, right before the release of his new Swae Lee-featuring single, "Unforgettable." Just yesterday, in fact, Kanye West deleted his whole page altogether, and his Twitter account as well.
What do you think Thug is up to? He's certainly stirring up plenty of excitement for EBBTG, which he has said is a "singing album" that is executive produced by Drake.
