Producer DJ Dahi, best known for working with Kendrick Lamar, once supervised dorms at Marymount California University.

All great producers have to start somewhere.

Before he made the beat for Kendrick Lamar's psychedelic-sounding "Money Trees" from the Good Kid, m.A.A.d City album, producer DJ Dahi was a resident supervisor at Marymount California University. In fact, he was still holding down the job when the track blew up. "That was when I knew I had to quit that job," Dahi said, "But until then it had been great because it allowed me so much time to make beats." Now one of the biggest producers in the game, the California native has collaborated with huge names like Drake, Big Sean, Dr. Dre and Madonna. Honestly, it must have been quite a trip when he busted someone for smoking weed in the dorm while jamming to his beat.
