For his 24th birthday party, Chi-town's Chance The Rapper did something special. He held a sold out turn up at Studio Paris nightclub in the Windy City with famous friends Ludacris and T-Pain and Sesame Street's Big Bird.
XXL reports the artist also raised more than $100,000 for charity. The proceeds will go his non-profit organization, SocialWorks. With the mission "to empower the youth through arts, education, and civic engagement," SocialWorks is just one of the ways Chano helps support his hometown's public schools.
At his party, the rapper received a lavish cake that paid homage to his favorite restaurant, Harold’s Chicken Shack. This year alone, he donated $1 million to Chicago's public education. His efforts have inspired the NBA's Chicago Bulls to also donate funds to academic institutions.
