Kendrick Lamar becomes second artist after Drake to hit 200 million first week streams.

DAMN. continues to prove a valuable addition to Kendrick's discography, both artistically and commercially. The Compton rapper's fourth studio album is officially projected to reach over 200 million first week streams, making him the second artist to achieve the feat. The first is, unsurprisingly, Drake, a fact that's sure to fuel the everlasting fan debate.

According to HITS Daily Double, Spotify and Apple Music contributed 120 million streams to the cause. Nine out of ten spots on the Spotify charts are DAMN. tracks, with nine out of eleven on Apple Music's charts. 2017 looks to be a hue year for Kendrick & TDE.
