According to TMZ, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne are being targeted in a federal drug investigation. It started when Miami producer Harrison Garcia, known for his lavish Instagram posts, sent out some texts claiming to have dealt drugs to Brown and Weezy. Unfortunately for Garcia, replacing weed with a tree emoji was not enough to fool the authorities.
Garcia reportedly sent a text signifying a drug delivery "for Wayne," as well as sending images of a 15k deposit in his account, made by Chris Brown. When asked the reason behind the deposit, Garcia told his correspondent "drugs...lean and shit." In the end, Garcia ended up confessing that he sold Wayne high volumes of narcotics. Ultimately, he claimed to be doing it to pimp up his image on social media.
While Garcia is currently sitting in legal hot water, The Miami Herald suggests that the feds are interested in pursuing further action on the rappers.
