Tebow homers against pitcher who was drafted 666th.

Last night, a miracle happened in Columbia, South Carolina. Tim Tebow hit a homerun in his first at-bat in his minor league debut for the Class A Columbia Fireflies.

The 29-year old former QB took a pitch deep to left center, but initially stopped at second base because he thought it was a ground-rule double.

Per ESPN,

"I thought I had a double, and the guy goes, 'Keep going,'" Tebow said. "I was, 'All right, I'll take it.' It felt good, though."

"All of my sports experiences helped me for moments like that."

"Playing in The Swamp or Death Valley or in Mile High Stadium in the playoffs, they all helped.

"So much about sports is handling moments and handling pressure."

Even more interesting is that Tebow's homerun in his first minor league AB came against Domenic Mazza, who was the 666th pick in the 2015 MLB draft. You can't make this shit up.

Tebow came back to Earth as the game progressed though, grounding out in his second at-bat and striking out the next three times at the plate, finishing 1-5 with 2 RBIs in his debut.
