Lil Wayne has had some issues touring as of late. After being forced to cancel an appearance in Minnesota, the veteran emcee delayed a show at the University of Florida Tuesday.
Fans were enraged when Weezy showed up at 11:26. The concert, which took place at the O'Connell Center, was supposed to have ended by 11 p.m. Over 3000 fans were left waiting after Bas and CyHi The Prynce, the two opening acts for the night, finished their sets around 10 p.m.
"The show was supposed to close around 11, not start," Karan Sharma, a University of Florida computer science senior, told Alligator, a local student newspaper. "I think they treated us like shit. They shouldn’t have done that."
According to the O'Connell Center's Facebook page, Wayne’s plane got grounded in Atlanta due to bad weather. Wayne failed to explain this to fans though. Alligator reports the rapper was paid $125,000 to perform.
