A few weeks ago rumors started swirling that Marshawn Lynch was considering coming out of retirement to play for his hometown Oakland Raiders before the team makes the move to Las Vegas.
Today, there's more traction to that story as former NFL punter Pat McAfee has discovered that Marshawn is currently at the Raiders practice facility meeting with team officials.
ESPN's Adam Schefter also added that sources believe Marshawn to Oakland "will happen."
According to ESPN, because Lynch's NFL rights remain property of the Seahawks, the Raiders would have to work out a trade with Seattle to acquire Beast Mode or hope that the Seahawks just release him, but there's a real chance we could see him on the field in the future.
Marshawn, who turns 31 later this month, retired after the 2015 season in which he missed 10 games, including the playoffs, due to an abdominal injury.
