One of the most sought-after hip hop/R&B vocalists, Chris Brown was at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore over the weekend. The crooner launched The Party tour without any trouble.
Following Fabolous, Kap G and O.T. Genasis, the 27-year-old pleased Team Breezy with some of his best hits including "Time for Love," "Privacy", "Grass Ain't Greener" and "Back to Sleep." According to the Rap Up, Brown got a little help from DJ Khaled getting the party started. The We The Best Music founder's voice followed a jumbotron countdown.
"They don’t want us to win," he said over the sound system. "So we gon' win more. They don't want us to party, so Chris Brown's bringing you The Party tour. When I say 'Chris,' you say 'Brown!' When I say 'Team,' you say 'Breezy!' I introduce you to the legendary, iconic, my friend, my brother, Chris Brown."
Breezy emerged from the ceiling strapped to cables, making flips and singing at the same time. He continued on the floor, showing off impressive dance moves and gyrations. Though 50 Cent was forced to back out of the tour due to a movie gig, Fabolous showed up during CB's set. Together they performed their collaboration "She Wildin'." Sunday night, the tour stopped in Boston.
The Party has 33 dates across the US. Next stop is Tuesday night in Charlotte, North Carolina. Check out some clips from his shows in Baltimore and Boston below.
