We had previously reported that Lana Del Rey would be teaming up with The Weeknd on a track called "Lust For Life." Today, Ms. Del Rey took to social media to announce her new album, also titled Lust For Life. It's interesting that The Weeknd is rumored to appear on the title track, which seems to indicate its importance in the album's overall theme.
Check out the official announcement trailer, which features a black and white filter and a fifties-sci-fi aesthetic. Lana narrates her mission statement with a playful voice over, but ultimately reveals nothing concrete about a tracklist or potential release dates, opting instead for the ever-ambiguous "coming soon".
