"I think I can lead a team better than him."

University of Washington point guard Markelle Fultz is projected to be the #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft this June, a draft which is loaded with highly touted point guards including UCLA's Lonzo Ball.

Fultz, a 6'4 freshman, averaged 23.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game for a nine-win Washington Huskies team while Ball, 6'6, averaged 14.6 points, 7.6 assists and 6 rebounds a night.

Most mock drafts have the two guards going #1 and #2 in the draft regardless of which teams end up with the most ping pong balls in the lottery.

During an interview today with ESPN 710 LA, Ball explained why he thinks he's a better overall player than Fultz.

"Markelle's a great player, but I feel I'm better than him," Ball told the station. "I think I can lead a team better than him. Obviously he's a great scorer — he's a great player, so I'm not taking that away from him."

We already know LaVar agrees with that, although he probably would've added something about being able to kill MJ in a 1-on-1 to strengthen his case.

Fultz, Ball, someone else? Who would you take #1 overall?
