Wale continues to drop hints about his forthcoming album.

Wale's 5th studio album SHiNE is still without a release date, but it feels like it could be released any day now. After announcing a tour in support of the project as well as dropping a warm-up mixtape, Wale has now shared some details on the cover art of his long-awaited follow-up to 2015's The Album About Nothing

"Just finalized my album cover today," the DC rapper wrote on Twitter. "No fancy big name artist. Jus a super cool kid I met on twitter. I'm grateful to have such talented fans."

This "super cool kid" is still a complete mystery to the rest of us. As XXL points out, a 22-year-old artist who goes by VHS (real name Dedrick Strong) is behind the cover. According to VHS, Wale had a very clear idea in mind when he contacted the artist, though we'll have to wait until the rapper decides to unveil it for any further details.

Here's hoping this "finalization" of the artwork means the album is due out soon. Wale's tour kicks off in May. Listen to his Before I SHiNE mixtape, which features the brand new record "You Got It Freestyle."
