Joey Badass Hosts "All AmeriKKKan Badass" Private Listening Party In NYC

Gearing up for the release of his new album All AmeriKKKan Badass, Joey Bada$$ hosted a private listening session at a Manhattan bistro. Sponsored by Sony Red, Cinematic Music Group and Pro Era, the invite-only event gathered some of the music industry's best minds for a first dig at the Brooklyn rapper's new music. 

Notable features include J. Cole, Styles P and ScHoolboy Q. TheBoombox.com reports Hot 97’s DJ Megan Ryte played tracks from the upcoming album while Joey answered questions about its themes.

"If you check the track listing you’ll see it's 12 tracks arranged into two sides," he said "One side I like to call 'The Heroes Side' and that has a certain vibe. When you get to the other side that's more 'The Vindictive Villainous Side.' When you listen to the album all the way through, you're gonna know exactly what I mean."

All AmeriKKKan Badass drops April 7.
