"Um, I can't even get my dog to stop peeing in the house."

Fortune Magazine published their annual list of the "World's Greatest Leaders" this morning and coming it at #1 is Chicago Cubs president of baseball operations, Theo Epstein.

Epstein, who recently helped end the Cubs' 108-year World Series drought, wasn't so sure he deserved such a title. In fact, he says he's not even the best leader in the Cubs' organization.

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, Epstein sent the following text to Buster Olney regarding his new status as World's Greatest Leader,

"Um, I can't even get my dog to stop peeing in the house. That is ridiculous. The whole thing is patently ridiculous. It's baseball -- a pastime involving a lot of chance. If [Ben] Zobrist's ball is three inches farther off the line, I'm on the hot seat for a failed five-year plan. And I'm not even the best leader in our organization; our players are."

Coming in behind Epstein on Fortune's rankings were Alibaba founder Jack Ma at #2 followed by Pope Francis, Melinda Gates, and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.

LeBron James almost found himself on the list of the World's Greatest Leaders at #11.
