During a Reddit AMA, producer Just Blaze answered all kinds of fan questions about his career and working with the best rappers of his era. When a fan asked him which Kanye West album was his favorite, the DJ was emphatic.
"Graduation," he simply posted on the forum.
The long-time Jay Z collaborator talked about his storied legacy and humble beginnings. He also named Pharrell as the greatest producer of all time and said the first time Kendrick Lamar ever worked with Dr. Dre and Aftermath was the night they recorded "Compton." He listed Daft Punk's Voyager as his favorite beat he didn't make. He also described Jay Electronica's upcoming album as "ethereal."
Following his DJ battle with Swizz Beatz, the New Jersey native said they planned more including a potential "neptunes vs tim and havoc vs Alchemist. fingers crossed."
