Former MLB star Manny Ramirez is playing ball once again overseas for the Japanese independent league's Kochi Island Fighting Dogs, and he just signed a remarkable new contract that includes some interesting caveats.

Some stipulations of the 44-year old's new deal, as reported by The Boston Globe’s Alex Speier, are:

- Optional practices

- A personal Mercedes car and a driver

- Unlimited sushi all season long

- His own hotel suite during road games

Manny last played pro ball in 2014 as a player-coach for the Triple-A Iowa Cubs, so it'll be interesting to see what the Fighting Dogs will get out of him next season but you can all but guarantee it will be an entertaining experience for all.

The former All-Star was a 2017 Baseball Hall of Fame nominee but missed the cut the first time around.
