Tom Brady is getting himself involved in the growing meal kit delivery business with his own line of gluten-free, high protein meals courtesy of Purple Carrot, a company which specializes in plant-based recipes and ingredients.

Brady told CNBC,

"The TB12 Performance Meals are designed for anyone who's looking to achieve or sustain their own peak performance," Brady told CNBC. "Whether that's in the gym, on the field, or at work. We want to inspire everyone — not just athletes — to be their best, and I think these meals will be a big step in that direction."

Three meals for two people are delivered each week for $78, which works out to approximately $13 a meal, slightly more expensive than the average meal kit.

The company will reportedly start taking pre-orders today. Here's what the $13 meals will look look, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.
