Back in 1989, Deion Sanders was selected 5th overall by the Atlanta Falcons, just behind a handful of future Hall Of Famers including Troy Aikman, Barry Sanders and Derrick Thomas.
Despite all of the talent at the top of that draft, Deion knew that he'd be a top pick and could afford to coast through the NFL combine after posting a then NFL-record in the 40 yard dash.
So when a team like the New York Giants, who were picking 18th in that draft, tried to give Deion a lengthy written psychological assessment test he walked right out of the room, telling them, "I ain't got time for this."
Deion told the NFL Network's Rich Eisen,
“And it happened to be the Giants’ room. And they sat me down and gave me a thick book. I mean, this thing was thicker than a phone book. I said, ‘What’s this?’ They said, ‘This is our test we give to all the players.’ I said, ‘Excuse me, what pick do you have in the draft?’ They said, I think 10th. I said, ‘I’ll be gone before then, I’ll see y’all later. I ain’t got time for this.’”
