The Big3 Basketball League has announced a few more players who will join the draft pool including Brian Scalabrine, Larry Hughes, Ivan Johnson, Reggie Evans and Josh Childress.
Scalabrine, aka The White Mamba, now 38 years old, last played for Chicago during the 2011-12 season. Hughes, also 38, is a former first-team All-Defensive selection, Reggie Evans retired as a member of the Kings in 2015, and Childress and Johnson are currently playing overseas in Japan and the Lebanese Basketball League, respectively.
The five men join a crop of talent that already features former NBA stars Allen Iverson, Chauncey Billups, Latrell Sprewell, Mike Bibby and Jason Williams.
The Big3 league, co-founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz, is scheduled to tip off on June 24th, featuring eight teams of five playing in a 10-week season at venues across the country.
The draft date hasn't been announced but the league will reportedly be adding new players to the pool every Monday until it's time to select teams.
