Johnny Manziel still plotting his NFL comeback.

24-year old Johnny Manziel didn't play in the NFL at all last season after being released by the Cleveland Browns roughly one year ago, but he's reportedly drawing "real interest" from teams this off-season.

Just to clarify, we're talking about NFL teams too, not the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

According to Ian Rapaport, Manziel has rehired Erik Burkhardt, the agent who fired him last February after Manziel's ex-girlfriend accused him of domestic violence.

Manziel recently told a judge that things in his life are "trending upward," via DallasNews.com,

"Everything has been going extremely smoothly and my life is trending upward, so I don't even want to let this get anywhere near the rabbit hole that you were describing," Manziel told the judge. "This situation is in my hands... I need to get my life in order. These are the things I need to do."

Even if all of this is true, and Johnny Football is indeed receiving some "real interest" at the combine, he could still face a six-game suspension due to the NFL's domestic violence policy.
