A knee injury that Kevin Durant suffered in Tuesday's loss to the Wizards could reportedly keep him out of Golden State's lineup for the remainder of the regular season and possibly into the playoffs.
It is believed that KD's hyperextended left knee injury could keep him out of action for six weeks, which would at least extend into the first round.
Durant, the Warriors' leading scorer this season with 25.8 points per game, underwent an MRI last night and Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Warriors are preparing for the worst, which is why they went out and signed veteran forward Matt Barnes for the rest of the season.
Barnes is ecstatic to be back in the Bay and posted the following text message exchange with his former Warriors teammate Stephen Jackson.
