With all the tomfoolery currently going down in Philadelphia hip hop circles, it's comforting to know that we can count on Cassidy to bless the streets with fresh music. This week, he released a new mixtape called Da BARbarian. It's 37 tracks in length, most likely one of the five longest mixtapes of the year and almost certainly the best mixtape of the year over 30 tracks.
In addition to a dozens of originals, the tape includes freestyles over a few prominent singles: Young M.A's "OOOUUU," Designer's "Panda," O.T. Genasis' "Cut It," Fat Joe & Remy Ma's "All the Way Up," 50 Cent's "Wanksta," and more. Guest appearances include Daisy, Bishop, Jeremih, Erk, and LuFly.
