"I'm pretty sure I will get a coward response."

In the days after being traded from Sacramento to New Orleans, DeMarcus Cousins has said he's "not mad" and is in a good place, although it's clear he is still a little pissed about the way things played out, especially with Kings owner Vivek Ranadive and GM Vlade Divac.

When asked if he has any desire to talk to either of those men, Boogie told The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears

"Nah. For what?"

"It was a coward move, so I'm pretty sure I will get a coward response. For what? And I've seen this happen before. I've been there through all same types ... I was there with [coach] Mike Malone's [firing]. I've seen how they operate. I know what kind of answer I will get anyway. So, what is the point?"

Cousins was reportedly assured that he wouldn't be traded which is why he resents the way things played out. He told Spears that he was very emotional after learning he had been dealt to the Pelicans.

"I haven't cried in a long time," Cousins told The Undefeated. "... It hit me like, 'This s--- is really happening.' It was something that I never expected to happen. I was also told [a trade] wouldn't happen, so ..."

DeMarcus scored 27 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out five assists in his debut with New Orleans last night, albeit in a losing effort to the Rockets.
