Jordan Brand released a “Sequoia” premium Air Jordan 5 as part of their Take Flight premium collection, and now photos are surfacing of an all white version of the shoe. Take a gander at the “Take Flight” Air Jordan 5 “Triple White” above. We've seen this colorway described as the "White Flight" colorway, but we're gonna stay away from that description.
Just like the “Sequoia” Jordan 5s, this shoe will feature premium leather and a leather lace lock replacing the usual plastic one. The translucent mesh on the side panels and under the tongue is also gone, but the replacement looks a bit different than the laser-cut perforations seen on the “Sequoia” 5s. Instead, the “Triple White” 5s have a woven leather look that creates a similar effect. Thankfully, Jordan decided not to use their usual blue-hued translucent sole, instead keeping with the aesthetic and using a white-tinted outsole.
Due to the premium materials and alterations used throughout the shoe, this “Take Flight” Air Jordan 5 will most likely have a $400 price tag to match the “Sequoia” 5s. Still, it’s a pretty nice look. Keep it locked here for official photos.
