Kings twitter lashes out at the Cleveland Indians.

Late last week the NBA sent out a memo to all 30 teams urging them to stop engaging in "twitter wars."

As part of the memo, the league urged teams to "properly and extensively train" social-media staffers so they know what's appropriate and what's not. Embarrassing or belittling opponents, and criticizing officiating were cited as inappropriate behavior.

A couple of NHL franchises caught wind of the NBA's new social media policy and decided to have a little fun with it, as shown below.

With NBA twitter accounts now off limits, the Sacramento Kings took it upon themselves to go at the Stars and Predators, as well as the MLB's Cleveland Indians, because other leagues are still fair game.

The Kings took a shot at Cleveland for blowing a 3-1 lead in the World Series and not having won a title since 1948, but the last time the Kings franchise won anything was in 1951 back when they were the Rochester Royals, so we're not sure if they can genuinely take claim to that championship.

In any event, check out how the Sacramento Kings are coping with the NBA's new twitter policy below.
