Former friends turned rivals, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift had an epic fallout on Twitter two years ago. After passing her number of hits all-time on the Billboard Hot 100 list, Nicki sent a message at her pop star peer.
"Oh hey, Taylor - Taylor and I were tied but thanks to u guys, #RunUp debuted on the Hot 100 this week so I was able to inch past her a bit.," she posted in the caption.
It's unclear when Swift and Minaj buried the hatchet but the latter was so ecstatic about her feat she celebrated her kinship with other major pop star divas of the last fifteen years. In the caption she adds in two other female performers who are positioned much lower on the Hot 100 record list.
"Did u know [Taylor's] a sag like ya girl? Her, Britney, Christina Aguilera... yup."
With 71 entries on the list, Minaj became the second top female solo act in that category after the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin. With rumors of a project on the way, Minaj has a chance to improve on that number this year. She and Swift are both on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.
