The Philadelphia Sixers have been fielding offers for former #3 overall pick Jahlil Oakfor throughout the month and it looks like they might finally have a trading partner in the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Pelicans are reportedly interested in pairing up the 6'11 center with their All-Star big man Anthony Davis, and reports suggest they'll be giving up a future first round pick to get the deal done.

According to USA Today's Sam Amick, the two teams are in "serious trade talks" but the Pelicans reportedly want lottery protection for the first round pick that they'll inevitably part with if a deal is made.

It's worth noting, the Sixers have been in talks with multiple teams regarding Jahlil Okafor, including the Bulls, but the Pelicans seem adamant about bringing in a guy like Okafor before the February 23rd trade deadline.

In his second year in the league, Okafor is averaging 11.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 23.1 minutes in 34 games.
