Earlier this week, the L.A. Times reported that Drake's YOLO Estate in Hidden Hills, had appeared in the Multiple Listing Service for a brief time. Turns out, a prankster, who pretended to be the 6 God's manager, posted the house as "For sale by owner" on Zillow.
The unknown person reached out to real estate agent Alexei Pavlov, to rep the 12,500-square-foot property. He said the rapper wanted to sell it. The prankster told Pavlov he was repping him while Drizzy was in the UK for the Boy Meets World tour.
Pavlov received an emailed agreement from the fraudster that included a forged signature -- Aubrey Drake Graham's. The real estate agent then asked he send a power of attorney agreement. Meanwhile, Pavlov posted the listing on the Multiple Listing Service as an active listing though he told The Real Deal that was an unintentional mistake.
The next day, when he called to arrange a photoshoot of the house, the trickster “started going crazy,” Pavlov said.
“I don’t know who he is,” the agent said. “But I’m planning to call the police.”
The culprit is still at large. It's still unknown what he was trying to accomplish.
