President Trump's decision to ban refugees and immigrants from seven predominately Muslim countries last week was met with much criticism across the U.S. including at major airports like JFK and LAX where protestors came out in the thousands to show their support for refugees.
Major companies like Nike also took a stance against Trump's executive order and CEO Mark Parker decided to release an official statement rebuking Trump's Muslim ban.
Speaking on behalf of Nike, Parker said, "Nike stands together against bigotry and any form of discrimination." He added, "We are at our best when we recognize the value of our diverse community."
