Everyone from Madeintyo to Taraji P Henson is rallying behind the #DeleteUber movement.

Uber has landed themselves in hot water today and the internet is persecuting them for their actions via the #DeleteUber hashtag. Long story short, as taxi drivers went on strike at JFK airport following Donald Trump's executive order dubbed #MuslimBan, Uber lifted their surge pricing at the airport and tried to undercut the strike seeking to make a profit.

Lyft quickly took note of the issue and pledged to donate $1 million to the ACLU who is currently helping refugees and other individuals detained at airports. Lyft Co-Founder and CEO Logan Green announced the donation on Twitter earlier this afternoon and effectively added fuel to the fire of the #DeleteUber movement.

Social media posts have flooded in since the announcement and people everywhere are chiming in on the situation. You can view some of the tweets below and share your thoughts with us in the comments. Will you #DeleteUber?

Lastly, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick released the following statement addressing the companies drivers affected by the ban.
