Actress and suspected butt-play enthusiast Vivica A. Fox is an executive producer for an upcoming Lifetime docuseries called "Black Magic," which will follow the lives of predominantly black male exotic dancers. She recently incited controversy around the show when she strongly objected to the notion of her dancers performing for men. In response to her comments, Jean-Claude LaMarre, also an executive producer on the show, has vowed to cut ties with Fox, reports TMZ.
"The comments were out of order, and it does not represent our attitudes toward the LGBT community," said LaMarre. "All are welcomed."
"Vivica speaks for herself not the business or the show," he added.
LaMarre will continue to be a part of "Black Magic," though he reportedly does not wish to work alongside Fox anymore.
Fox's controversial comments were made last week when she appeared on The Breakfast Club with two of the dancers from "Black Magic." "Do you dance for gay men too?" Charlamagne Tha God asked the dancers, which prompted Fox to interject, saying, "Hell naw" with conviction. "Back all that up," she told Charlamagne.
When asked to clarify her policy of a female-only audience, Fox explained, "Because there's no need to [dance for gay men], they dance for women. It's called the ultimate girls' night out for a reason."
LaMarre enlisted Fox for the 2015 film "Chocolate City," which partly inspired "Black Magic."
