Boosie shares some possible methods to reduce police violence.

Boosie has spent much of his year providing commentary on his hometown of Baton Rouge, including his experiences with police, inspiring protesters to use his words when confronting officers in Ferguson after death of Michael Brown. Following the highly publicized police killing of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, it seems fit that Boosie would comment on the current issues with police brutality, which he did through his Snapchat this weekend.

The rapper wasn't all too optimistic about the future. "It will never be peace. Because you got too many lives that have been taken. All you can do is try to diffuse the situation. It’s too far gone," he said, but did offer a possible means to progress. I think what would slow the cops down from doing what they doing is if they start getting convicted and getting life sentences, double-life sentences, like we get if we kill somebody."

Boosie also commented on the recent shooting of police officers in Dallas. "I aint into cops being killed, I aint with all that. But cops getting away with murder. They in they prime right now," he said.

As far as his hometown goes, the rapper doesn't see much change, but did express that at least the issue is more visible now. "I been talking about what’s going on with police in Baton Rouge for a long time. Now people get to see it with their own eyes – all the injustice going on in that city," he said.
