Allen returns to Duke's lineup after one game.

Grayson Allen returned to the Duke Blue Devils lineup last night after serving his "indefinite suspension" for intentionally tripping yet another player on an opposing team. As it turns out, Allen's indefinite suspension only lasted one game.

College basketball's public enemy #1 tripped an Elon player on December 21st, the third such instance in his Duke career, and after being benched for the start of the second half Coach K later announced the indefinite suspension.

After missing Duke's game against Virginia Tech (a loss), Allen was back for Duke's second ACC matchup against Georgia Tech last night. Coach K discussed his decision last night on SportsCenter.

"I think it's appropriate, and I think the things that we've done are appropriate," Krzyzewski told ESPN's Jay Bilas in an interview on Sportscenter that aired on Wednesday night. "There are things that you see or the public see, and there are things that you all don't see and shouldn't see or shouldn't be talked about, and they're called teachings. You don't need to teach out in the public all the time."

"What he did was wrong. He was punished for it. I think it's time to move on, and I think the new role he has will be a good one for him."

Grayson Allen scored 15 points for the Dukies and pitched in seven assists in their 53-point romp of the Yellow Jackets.
